When Conference Materials Will Be Available

Live Broadcast on the Internet

Live video streams of each session of conference (except general priesthood meeting) will be available in English at www.byu.tv or www.ksl.com, in Spanish at http://www.byu.tv/international/index.html?show=es, and in Portuguese at http://www.byu.tv/international/index.html?show=pt. The video player will work on all known PC and Macintosh browsers with a broadband Internet connection. Please also note that any time you click the links above, you will see the current live video feed of that broadcast organization. The KSL link is a test feed and may not be available after conference weekend.

On LDS.org, live audio streams for Windows Media Player will be available for each session (except general priesthood meeting) in selected languages. For a list of available languages, see the General Conference Broadcast page.

Video and Audio Archives on the Internet

Archived English video streams of general conference sessions (except general priesthood meeting) are available immediately at www.byu.tv. To find the video stream of a previous session, click the On Demand button on the BYU-TV main page.

On LDS.org, Windows Media Audio (WMA) files of each session (except general priesthood meeting) are typically available within 48 hours of conference for selected languages.

Windows Media Video (WMV) files will be available within 8 weeks of the conference. These files can be viewed by individual talk or by session in both English and Spanish for all sessions except general priesthood meeting.

Within 2 weeks of the broadcast, English MP3 audio files will be available. MP3 files in additional languages will be available within 6 weeks of the broadcast.

Within 4 weeks of the broadcast, American Sign Language (ASL) files will be available for individual talks or entire sessions, including the general priesthood meeting.

Online Text of Conference

English text of conference addresses will be available online by the Thursday following conference.

Within 4 weeks of the broadcast, online text will be available in the following languages: Bulgarian, Cantonese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Fijian, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Mandarin, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Samoan, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Tahitian, Tongan, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.

Within 6 weeks of the broadcast, Braille files (.brf and .txt format) will be available online.

Magazines

The May and November issues of the Ensign magazine will contain the proceedings of general conference in English.

The May and November issues of the Liahona will contain the proceedings of general conference in the following languages: Bulgarian, Cebuano, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Fijian, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Samoan, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Tahitian, Thai, Tongan, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.

Online PDF copies (printable, complete layout) of the Liahona conference issue will be available by the first week of May and November in the following languages: Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish.

CDs and Audiocassettes

English audio CDs and audiocassettes will be available through distribution centers within 8 weeks after the broadcast.

Videos

Units not receiving the satellite broadcast will receive a language video from the area office within 8 weeks of the broadcast.

DVDs

Within 8 weeks of the broadcast, an English DVD of conference will be available through distribution centers. This DVD will include English subtitles, as well as printable PDF files and MP3 audio files.

Within 12 weeks of the broadcast, a multi-language DVD will be available through distribution centers in the following languages: Cantonese, Cebuano, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Samoan, Spanish, Tagalog, Tahitian, and Tongan. The DVD will also include subtitles in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Within 8 weeks of the broadcast, an American Sign Language (ASL) DVD will be available through distribution centers. The DVD will include subtitles in English.
