On 12 November 2000, The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints held a special fireside in which President
Gordon B. Hinckley addressed the youth and young single adults of the
Church. The fireside originated from the Conference Center in Salt Lake
City, Utah.
The fireside was broadcast live over the Church satellite system
to meetinghouses throughout North America, Central America, and South
America, and rebroadcast to Europe. It was available worldwide in 26
languages on the Internet at www.lds.org.
