Elder Paul E. Koelliker 

First Quorum of the Seventy

Elder Paul E. Koelliker was called to serve as a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2005, at age 62. He previously served as Executive Director of the Temple Department and as both counselor and president of the Africa Southeast Area. He is currently serving an assistant Executive Director in the Family History Department.

Elder Koelliker received a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from the University of Utah in 1969. His professional career has been in service to the Corporation of the President, serving as secretary to the Presiding Bishopric, managing director of the Priesthood Department, managing director of the Member & Statistical Records Department, and most recently as managing director of the Temple Department.

In addition, during his many years of Church activity, he has served as a full-time missionary in Berlin Germany, in ward and stake Young Men presidencies, in elders quorum presidencies, as a bishop, as a high councilor, as a stake president, and a as sealer.

Paul Edward Koelliker was born in Pittsburg, California, on March 12, 1943. He married Ann Neilson Koelliker in 1966. They are the parents of seven children and grandparents of twenty-one grandchildren.
