Nauvoo Accepting Applications for Performing Missionaries

The Missionary Department is currently accepting applications for the 2014 Young Performing Missionary program. Those selected will receive a call to serve as young performing missionaries (YPMs) for the 2014 summer season, May 2 through August 12, 2014, in Nauvoo, Illinois.

Applicants must be high school graduates, at least 18 years of age, and no older than 25 years old.

Applications are being accepted for the following roles:

Young performing stage missionary—Sings, dances, acts, and entertains in numerous daily shows and performances and dances in the Nauvoo Pageant.

Young performing technical missionary—Provides tech support for audio, lighting, and stage management for the shows and performances in Nauvoo.

Young performing band missionary—Participates in the 16-member Nauvoo Brass Band with daily performances and concerts and serves as a guide in the Nauvoo historic sites
