  • Young Single Adults Gather to Socialise and Give Community Service

    Four Hundred and twenty young adults gathered in Adelaide over the New Year period for a ‘Young Single Adult’ (Y.S.A.) Convention. The convention — which was based at Saint Mark’s student accommodation facility in North Adelaide, on the banks of the River Torrens — was held from 27 December 2012 to 1 January 2013. Annual Y.S.A. conventions are held at various major cities across Australia and are designed to boost faith and fellowship for 18-30 year-old single adults, with service projects always included in the programme of events.  Full Story

    In support of the 2013 Mutual theme—“stand ye in holy places, and be not moved”—the New Era magazine kicked off its 2013 year with four unique covers on the January 2013 issue. (All interior content of the magazine is the same no matter which cover you receive.) It’s the first time Church magazines have had four different covers for a single issue!   • New Stake Created: Melbourne Australia Gippsland Stake; Melbourne Braeside and Melbourne Narre Warren Stakes

  • Art Exhibition in Sydney

    The Church in Australia has for several years now held a print art exhibition in conjunction with its traditional Sydney Temple Christmas lights. This year the event has been extended nationwide to also include an exhibition of original Australian Latter-day Saint art.  Full Story
