Services:
- The Archives Reference Staff is available to guide your research
efforts and to answer brief informational requests. The staff is not
available to do in-depth research for you but rather to help you establish
a research strategy.
- The staff may be contacted in person or by telephone, mail, fax,
or e-mail. See Location or Contact Us for more information.
- The automated Church Archives Catalog is available in the Archives
Search Room along with other finding aids.
- Copies
of Patriarchal Blessings may be requested.
- Requests for photocopies may be made only in accordance with Church
Archives policy and are for the private use of the recipient.

General Rules:
- Pens may not be used. Pencils, personal computers, and typewriters
are permitted. Tape recorders may be used for dictating. Carrying cases
and other personal items must be left in lockers.
- When microfilm copies of archival materials are available, researchers
will be required to use the films rather than the original documents.
- When requested, all notes, papers, copies, or personal belongings
must be presented to a staff member for inspection.
- Any publication or reproduction, including electronic publication
on the Internet, on compact disc, or in other computer-readable formats,
or other use of archival material that exceeds the bounds of fair use
as defined in United States copyright law, requires the prior written
permission of the Church Copyrights and Permissions Office, as well
as any other individual or institution that may have rights to the
materials.
