The Joseph Smith Papers has identified 4,300 items of journals, correspondence,
revelations, and legal and business documents, including those Joseph Smith
manuscripts in the Church Archives and the L. Tom Perry Special Collections
at BYU.
The Church Archives, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, continues its search
for original manuscripts relating to Joseph Smith, including:
- documents written by Joseph Smith
- documents written to Joseph Smith
- documents containing contemporary references to Joseph Smith
