Holiness unto the Lord Joseph Bennion Salt glazed fired stoneware, 2002 "The pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 14:20–21). This plate, displayed and used in the Bennion home, is a reminder of this important principle. We have no secular life in Zion. Brigham Young said he found worship of God in the proper making of a chair. The artist feels the same way about making pottery. |
