Brightly Beams Our Fathers Mercy Joseph Lasura Scratchboard, 2002 This picture is based on hymn 335 from the Latter–day Saint hymnal. Here the lighthouse and beam of light represent the Lord and His mercy to the struggling seaman tossed on the sea. The seaman in this image represents those who struggle to come back to Him. The hymn also expresses the importance of each of our lamplights shining to cast a gleam upon the waves. |
