Sacred Sentinel Don Lind Oil on canvas, 2002 This is a pastoral Utah rural scene in the Cache Valley. In quiet dignity the Logan Temple seems to preside over every activity. Don Lind, the artist, was an astronaut aboard the Challenger space shuttle during the 1980s. Brother Lind related that on the day of the loss this year of the seven astronauts aboard the space shuttle Columbia, he sought peace by serving in the Logan Temple. |
