Rebirth: The Resurrection Marilee B. Campbell Pastel on paper, 2002 This is a symbolic painting representing the hope of life eternal. The artist was motivated to paint this after coming very close to losing her husband and after having a daughter recently diagnosed with cancer. The three white flowers refer to the Godhead and the red ribbon was placed as a reminder of Christ's blood that was shed for us. This work is an expression of joy that we will triumph over death and see our loved ones again. |
