God can use earthly traits like weakness, temptation, and affliction to point out our shortcomings and heal us as well. Like the blind man who washed the dirt out of his eyes and came away seeing, our eyes will be opened in ways we never thought possible as we wash ourselves clean of the things of the world. And like the blind man, we will then see Jesus Christ for who He is––our Lord and Savior. |
