As the Church and Primary continued to grow, programs needed to adapt to an ever–wider range of circumstances. In Primary the simplification of programs continued. Now all Primary classes from 18 months to 12 years old would use only 3 different manuals a year. The nursery and Sunbeams would be taught from one manual, children 4 to 7 years old are CTRs, and the older classes are Valiants. An expanded Achievement Days program for girls 8 to 11 years old paralleled the Cub Scouting program for boys.
