I Can't Wait Until I'm Eight

For 75 years and through many name changes, the Primary program for 7–and 8–year–old children has prepared children to make and keep baptismal covenants. The first of these classes, known as Zion's Boys and Zion's Girls, or more commonly ZBs and ZGs, were established in the Primary Jubilee year of 1928. For almost 50 years, from ZBs and ZGs to CTR Pilots, Co–Pilots, and Top Pilots, airplanes were common motifs used by the lessons for this age–group to teach gospel principles. Later these same groups were known as Targeteers. Today the 7 year olds are CTRs, and the 8 year olds are Valiants.
