Ko e Hōloa e Fatongia ʻo e Ngaahi Tamaí
ʻOku fekumi ʻa Sētane ʻi ha palani kuó ne faʻu ke fakaʻauha ʻaki e fāmilí, ke fakasiʻisiʻi e fatongia ʻo e ngaahi tamaí. ʻOku hoko e fakautuutu ʻa e fekainaki mo e faihia ʻa e toʻu tupú, lahi ange mo e masivá pea taʻe pau mo e tuʻunga fakaʻekonōmiká, pea pehē ki he fakautuutu e tokolahi ʻo e toʻu tupu ʻi ʻapiako ʻoku hingá, ko ha fakamoʻoni mahino ia ki he siʻisiʻi ke ʻi ai ha takiekina fakaetamai ʻi ʻapí.5 ʻOku fie maʻu ʻe he fāmilí ha tamai ke ne fakamaʻunga ki ai.

Tuʻunga ʻi ha palani fakalangi, ʻoku ʻa e ngaahi tamaí ai ke nau puleʻi honau ngaahi fāmilí i he ʻofa mo e māʻoniʻoni pea ko honau fatongiá ke tokonaki ʻa e ngaahi fiemaʻu ʻo e moʻuí pea mo ha maluʻi maʻa honau ngaahi fāmilí. Ngaahi Fatongia ʻo e Tamaí
ʻI heʻetau fakakaukau atu ko ia ki he ngaahi fakatokanga vivili ʻo fekauʻaki mo e kahaʻu ʻo e fānau ʻa ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní, kuo pau ke vakaiʻi lelei ai ʻe he ngaahi tamaí mo e ngaahi faʻeé ʻa honau lotó ke fakapapauʻi ʻoku nau muimui ki he fakahinohino ʻa e ʻEikí ʻi hono faʻu ha ngaahi fāmili taʻengatá. 1. Ko e tamaí ʻoku ʻulu ki hono fāmilí.
“Ko e tuʻunga fakatamaí ko ha tuʻunga fakatakimuʻa ia—ʻa e faʻahinga tuʻunga fakatakimuʻa mahuʻinga tahá. Kuo pehē ai pē ia mei he kamataʻangá; pea ʻe pehē ai pē ia. ʻOku kau ʻi ho fatongia fakatakimuʻa ʻi ʻapí, ʻa e pau ke ke taki e fāmilí ʻi he lotú.
“ʻOkú ke pule ʻi he tēpile maʻu meʻatokoní mo e lotu fakafāmilí. ʻOkú ke pule ʻi he efiafi fakafāmili ʻi ʻapí; pea ʻi hono fakahinohinoʻi koe ʻe he Laumālie ʻo e ʻEikí, ʻokú ke fakapapauʻi ai ʻoku akoʻi ki hoʻo fānaú ʻa e ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻoku totonú. Ko koe ʻokú ke fai e fakahinohino fekauʻaki mo e ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻi he moʻui fakafāmilí.
“ʻOkú ke foaki ʻa e ngaahi tāpuaki fakatamaí. ʻOkú ke kau kakato ki hono fokotuʻu ʻo e ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni mo e fakatonutonu fakafāmilí. ʻI hoʻo hoko ko ia ko e taki ʻi ho fāmilí, ʻokú ke palani mo feilaulau ai ke aʻusia ʻa e tāpuaki ko ia ko e fāmili uouangataha mo fiefiá. ʻOku fie maʻu ke fakatefito hoʻo moʻuí ʻi he fāmilí, kae lava ke ke fai kotoa e ngaahi meʻá ni.”8
Hangē ko e naʻinaʻi ʻa Palesiteni Siosefa F. Sāmitá: “ʻE kāinga, ʻoku siʻi ʻaupito hono mateakiʻi ʻo e tui fakalotú, ʻa e ʻofa mo e manavahē ki he ʻOtuá ʻi he ʻapí; pea lahi ʻaupito ʻa e anga fakamāmaní, siokitá, fakataʻetaʻetokangá, mo e ʻikai ke ʻi he fāmilí ʻa e anga ʻapasiá, he ka ne ʻikai pehē, he ʻikai ʻaupito teitei lahi ʻene hoko ʻa e ngaahi meʻa ia ko ʻení ʻi tuʻa mei he ʻapí. ʻI heʻene peheé leva, ʻoku fie maʻu ke fai hano fakaleleiʻi ʻo e ngaahi ʻapí.
