Ko e Tokāteline ʻo e Kātaki ki he Ngataʻangá

ʻOku kau ʻi he ongoongolelei ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí ʻa e kātaki ki he ngataʻangá, he ko e taha ia ʻo ʻEne ngaahi tefitoʻi tokāteliné. Ne akoʻi ʻe Sīsū, “Ko ia ia ʻe faʻa kātaki ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻangá, ko ia ia ʻe moʻuí.”1 Pea: “Kapau te mou nofo maʻu ʻi heʻeku leá, pea ko ʻeku kau ākonga moʻoni ʻakimoutolu.”2 ʻOku pehē ʻe ha niʻihi ko e kātaki ki he ngataʻangá ko haʻate kātekina pē ngaahi faingataʻá. ʻOku toe lahi ange ia ai—ko e founga ia ʻo e haʻu kia Kalaisi pea hoko ʻo haohaoa ʻiate Iá.

Ne akoʻi ʻe Nīfai ko ha palōfita he Tohi ʻa Molomoná ʻo pehē: “Ko ia, ʻoku totonu ke mou vivili atu ki muʻa ʻi he tuʻu maʻu ʻia Kalaisí, pea maʻu ʻa e ʻamanaki ʻoku mālohi haohaoá, mo e ʻofa ki he ʻOtuá mo e kakaí fulipē. Ko ia, kapau te mou vilitaki atu, pea ʻuakai ʻi he folofola ʻa Kalaisí, pea kātaki ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻangá, vakai, ʻoku folofola peheni ʻe he Tamaí: Te mou maʻu ʻa e moʻui taʻengatá.”3

“Ko e tangata tūtūʻí ʻokú ne tūtuuʻi ʻa e folofolá.

“Ko kinautolu ʻeni ʻi he veʻe halá, ʻa ia ʻoku tūtuuʻi ki ai ʻa e folofolá; pea kuo nau fanongo, pea haʻu leva ʻa Sētane, ʻo ʻave ʻa e folofola naʻe tūtuuʻi ki honau lotó.

“Pea ko kinautolu ʻeni foki kuo tūtuuʻi ʻi he potu makamakaʻiá; ʻi heʻenau fanongo ki he folofolá, ʻoku nau maʻu leva ia ʻi he fiefia;

“Ka ʻoku ʻikai ha aka ʻiate kinautolu, ko ia, ʻoku nau maʻu ai ia ʻo fuonounou: pea ka tupu ʻa e mamahí pe ʻa e fakatangá, koeʻuhi ko e folofolá, ʻoku hinga leva ʻa kinautolu.

“Pea ko kinautolu ʻeni kuo tūtuuʻi ʻi he ʻakau talatalá; ʻoku nau fanongo ki he folofolá.

“Ka ko e tokanga ki māmaní, mo e kākā ʻo e koloá, mo e hū ʻa e holi lahi ki he ngaahi meʻa kehekehé, ʻoku kāsia ai ʻa e folofolá, pea taʻe fua ai ia.

“Pea ko kinautolu ʻeni kuo tūtuuʻi ki he kelekele leleí; ʻoku nau fanongo ki he folofolá, pea maʻu ia, pea tupu ai ʻa e fua, ko e taki tolungofulu ʻa e niʻihi, pea taki onongofulu ʻa e niʻihi, pea taki teau ʻa e niʻihi.”5

ʻOku fakamatalaʻi ʻe he tala fakatātaá ni ʻa e ngaahi faʻahinga ʻo e kelekelé ʻoku tūtuuʻi mo tanumaki ai ʻa e ngaahi tenga ʻo e moʻoní. ʻOku fakafofongaʻi ʻe he faʻahinga takitaha ʻo e kelekelé ʻa e tuʻunga ʻo ʻetau loto ʻakí mo hotau ivi kātakí.

Ko e ʻuluaki faʻahinga ʻo e kelekelé, ʻa ē ʻi he “veʻe halá,” ʻokú ne fakafofongaʻi kinautolu ʻoku nau fanongo ki he ongoongoleleí, ka ʻoku ʻikai ke nau ʻoange ha faingamālie ki he moʻoní ke aká.

Ko e faʻahinga kelekele hono tolú, “ne tūtuuʻi ʻi he ʻakau talatalá,” ʻokú ne fakafofongaʻi ha kāingalotu ʻe niʻihi ʻo e Siasí ʻoku takihalaʻi pe maʻunimā kinautolu ʻe he tokanga ki he koloá mo e ngaahi holi fakakakano ʻo e māmaní.

Fakaʻosí, ko kinautolu ʻi he “kelekele leleí” ko e kāingalotu ia ʻo e Siasí ʻoku hāsino mei heʻenau moʻuí ʻa honau tuʻunga fakaākonga ki he ʻEikí, pea ʻoku loloto honau aká ʻi he kelekele ʻo e ongoongoleleí, pea ʻoku nau fakatupu ai ha ngaahi fua lahí.

ʻI he tala fakatātā ʻo e tangata tūtūʻí, ʻoku fokotuʻu mai ai ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ha ngaahi tūkiaʻanga ʻe tolu ʻo e kātakí, ʻa ia te nau lava ke fakakāsiaʻi hotau laumālié mo taʻofi ʻetau fakalakalaka taʻengatá.

Ko e ʻuluaki tūkiaʻanga ʻo e kātakí ko e “tokanga ki māmaní,” ko hono moʻoní ko e hīkisia.6 ʻOku hāsino ʻa e hīkisiá ʻi ha ngaahi founga kehekehe ʻoku fakatupu ʻauha. Hangē ko ʻení, ko e hīkisia fakaʻatamaí ʻoku eʻa ʻaupito ia ʻi hotau kuongá ni. ʻOku mahuʻinga lahi ʻa e ʻiló pea ko e taha ia ʻo e ngaaahi meʻa te tau ō mo ia ki he moʻui ka hokó.7 ʻOku totonu ke tau ako maʻu ai pē. Neongo ia, kuo pau ke tau tokanga ke ʻoua naʻa tuku ki tafaʻaki ʻetau tuí he ko hono moʻoní ko e tuí ʻokú ne fakaleleiʻi hotau ivi ke akó.

Ko e tūkiaʻanga hono tolu ʻo e kātakí naʻe folofola ki ai ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ko e “holi ki he ngaahi meʻa [kehé]” ʻOku ʻākilotoa kitautolu ʻe he mahaki fakaʻauha ko e ponokalafí, ʻo laka ange ia ʻi ha toe taimi ki muʻa. ʻOku hanga ʻe he ponokalafí ʻo fakatupu ʻa e ongoʻi angaʻulí, movetevete ʻo e ʻapí pea pehē ki he moʻuí. ʻOku hanga ʻe he ponokalafí ʻo holoki hotau ivi fakalaumālie ke kātakí. ʻOku fāitatau e ponokalafí mo e ʻoneʻone fofoó. ʻE faingofua ʻaupito haʻane maʻu-nimā mo ikunaʻi kita he mōmēniti pē ʻokú te manga atu ai ʻo ʻikai ke fakatokangaʻi ʻa hono fakatuʻutāmakí. ʻOku ngalingali te ke fie maʻu ha tokoni ke ke hao hake ai mei he ʻoneʻone fofō ʻo e ponokalafí. Ka hono ʻikai lelei lahi ange ke ʻoua naʻá ke teitei manga atu ki ai. ʻOku ou kole fakamātoato atu ke mou tokanga mo fakaalaala ʻaupito.

Ko e Kātaki ki he Ngataʻangá ko ha Tefitoʻi Moʻoni ia ki he Taha Kotoa

ʻI ha ngaahi uike siʻi ki muʻa pea siʻi mālōlō ʻa Palesiteni Hiipa J. Kalānité, ne ʻalu atu ai ha taha ʻo e Kau Takí ke ʻaʻahi ki ai ʻi hono ʻapí. ʻOku ʻikai ha taha ia ʻe hao mei he mālohi mo e ngaahi fakatauele ʻa Sētané. ʻOua te ke hīkisia ʻo ke fakakaukau ʻokú ke hao koe mei he ivi ʻo e filí. Sio tokanga telia naʻá ke tō ki heʻene ngaahi kākaá. Nofo ofi ki he ʻEikí ʻaki haʻo ako fakaʻaho ʻa e folofolá mo lotu fakaʻaho. ʻOku ʻikai totonu ia ke tau tangutu ʻo mālōlō mo pehē kuo pau hotau fakamoʻuí. Ivi ke Kātakí

ʻOku ou ʻiloʻi ʻoku toko lahi ha kakai ʻoku loto mamahi, taʻe lata, mamahiʻia mo foʻi. Ko e ngaahi meʻá ni ko e konga mahuʻinga ia he moʻui ʻa e tangatá. Neongo ia, ʻoua muʻa naʻa mole hoʻo falala ki he Fakamoʻuí mo ʻEne ʻofa kiate koé. ʻOku pau maʻu pē ia. Kuó Ne talaʻofa he ʻikai te Ne tuku taʻe fakafakafiemālieʻi kitautolu.12

ʻI he taimi ʻoku tau fehangahangai ai mo e ngaahi faingataʻa heʻetau moʻuí, ʻoku fakafiemālieʻi kitautolu ʻe he folofola ʻa e ʻEikí he vahe 58 ʻo e Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakavá:

“ʻOku ʻikai te mou lava ke mamata ʻaki homou mata fakaemāmaní ʻi he taimí ni, ki he finangalo ʻo homou ʻOtuá ʻo kau ki he ngaahi meʻa ʻe hoko ʻa muí, pea mo e nāunau ʻe hoko mai hili ʻa e faingataʻa lahí.

“He ʻe hoko mai ʻa e ngaahi tāpuakí hili ʻa e ngaahi faingataʻa lahi. Ko ia, ʻe hokosia ʻa e ʻaho ʻe hilifaki ai kiate kimoutolu ʻa e kalauni ʻo e nāunau lahi; ʻoku teʻeki ai ke hokosia ʻa e feituʻu laʻaá ka ʻoku ofi ia.”13

Ko ia siʻoku ngaahi tokoua mo e tuofāfine, kuo pau ke tau vilitaki atu ki muʻa, pea hoko ʻo hangē moʻoni ange ai ko e ʻEikí. ʻOku tau ʻilo kotoa kinautolu ne nau fehangahangai mo ha ngaahi faingataʻa lahi ʻo e moʻuí pea nau kātekina lelei iá. Ko ha sīpinga lelei ʻe taha ko ha taha ʻo e kau fuofua Kāingalotú, ʻi he senituli 19 ko Uōleni M. Sionisoni. ʻUluakí, fakamoʻoni. ʻOku ʻomi ʻe he fakamoʻoní ʻa e mahino taʻengata ko ē ʻoku fie maʻu ke tau sio fakalaka atu ai ʻi he ngahi faingataʻa ʻoku tau fehangahangai mo iá. Manatuʻi e meʻa ne kikiteʻi ʻe Hiipa C. Kimipoló:
