David G. Moore

Chairman and President/CEO

David G. Moore has been with Deseret Trust Company since 2004. Prior to joining Deseret Trust Company, he worked in trust, private banking, and retail banking for two national banks with offices in Utah. He served as senior vice president, senior trust officer, and regional trust manager at these institutions.

His main responsibilities include:

• Serving as the chairman of the board of trustees.
• Developing and stating long-range company objectives.
• Monitoring the financial health of the company.
• Recruiting and motivating qualified staff.
• Overseeing the annual operating budget and capital expenditures.
• Overseeing trust and custody accounts.
• Serving as a liaison to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of arts (psychology) - University of Utah
• Master of business administration (MBA) - University of Utah
• Graduate of National Trust School - American Bankers Association
• Pacific Coast Banking School - University of Washington
• Past President, Utah Bankers Association, Trust Division
• Past President, United Way of Northern Utah
• Member of the Children's Center Board of Trustees
• Past member of the Utah Symphony Board of Directors
