Brent L. Palmer

FINANCE MANAGER

Brent L. Palmer has been with Deseret Trust Company since March 2011. Prior to joining Deseret Trust Company his most recent experience was with Ensign Peak Advisors, Inc. as a Senior Financial Analyst.

His main responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and monitor PeopleSoft general ledger
  • Reconciliations of investment activity
  • Financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and Remainderman reporting
  • Assist in trust tax preparation
  • Backup for the Controller and CFO

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science (Accounting) — Utah State University
  • Four years as a Financial Analyst with Ensign Peak Advisors, Inc.
  • Custody Accountant for Ensign Peak Advisors, Inc.
  • New York Institute of Finance, Bond Mathematics
  • New York Institute of Finance, Fixed Income Securities
