“The time has come for us to stand a little taller, to lift our eyes and stretch our minds to a greater
comprehension and understanding of the grand millennial mission of this The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”

Our People

Why We Need You

We hire top performers who can advance the work of the Lord. We seek employees who have much to offer and are dedicated to building the kingdom. The cause in which we are engaged is the greatest cause on earth. We look for people who are resourceful, upbeat, and loyal and who will give their best in what they are contributing. Our organization is founded on the great mission of the Church, and we need people who are dedicated to working in the Lord’s kingdom to fulfill that mission. You can do this by providing assistance, support, and materials to Church leaders, teachers, missionaries, and families.

Our Culture

Why Church Employment?

Church employment provides an opportunity that's interesting and meaningful, a work environment that welcomes your good ideas, and an atmosphere that’s uplifting and gives you room to grow. Equally important, this is an organization built on ethics and values. We invite you to pursue a position with us that will reflect your skills and passions in contributing to an important purpose.

What’s Different about Church Employment?
  • We have an eternal purpose. Our employees have a unique commitment and devotion to the work. Our business is building the kingdom.
  • Church employment offers an incredible experience, an opportunity of a lifetime, and a great responsibility.
  • This is a worldwide church, connecting many countries, cultures, and languages.
  • Our culture is built on core values that promote unity. Our values determine the way we think, the decisions we make, how we work with and treat people, the quality of our work, and the service we provide to others.
  • “It (Church employment) will not only be the source of your income, but even more importantly, the source of your satisfaction. You may take pride in the fact that you work for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints” (President Gordon B. Hinckley, in Working in the Lord’s Kingdom [DVD]).

Continuous Learning and Development

As part of our commitment to continuing development, employees can access online courses or register for classroom instruction from the convenience of their computers. We give employees the ability to take responsibility for their own professional and personal growth.

Our goal is to support employee development through innovative online learning that can be accessed anytime and from anywhere in the world. Employees can access a diverse library of content. These courses and reference materials cover a wide variety of subject matter in order to meet the various training needs of all our employees—from highly technical topics, to instruction on software applications, to business skills development. These courses, combined with online books from various publishers, can be used as reference tools to help answer the day-to-day on-the-job questions, as preparation for technical certification, or as part of personal development.

In addition to our online training courses and classroom instruction, we also provided religion classes, educational reimbursement, and employer-funded certifications.
