Bells on Temple Square Echoes of Spring: 60 Hands, 360 Bells, 2 Pianos Event Description The Bells on Temple Square Echoes of Spring: 60 Hands, 360 Bells, 2 Pianos on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. This program will feature the Bells on Temple Square conducted by Tom Waldron. The program will also include short orchestral and organ performances by members of the Orchestra at Temple Square and Temple Square organists Bonnie Goodliffe and Linda Margetts. In addition, two guest pianists, Susan Duehlmeier and Bonnie Gritton, will perform. This versatile piano duo has met with accolades in many countries abroad as well as in the United States. The evening will include classical selections and lighter fare. Dates and Location Friday and Saturday, May 2–3, 2008, 7:30 p.m. Tabernacle Tickets Tickets are required for this event. Tickets can be obtained over the Internet or by calling 570-0080 (locally) or toll-free 1-866-537-8457 (1-866-LDS-TIKS) starting Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. There is a limit of six tickets per person. Special Considerations Tickets are required for this event. Those with tickets should be in their seats 15 minutes before the event start time. Standby seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The standby line is formed at the flagpole on Temple Square. For this event, admission to the Tabernacle is limited to those ages eight and older. No babies, please. Wheelchair seating is available. Patrons who require such seating should inform Guest Services when they arrive at the event. Best dress is requested. Those attending this event are advised that cameras, recording devices, backpacks, food, and beverages are not allowed in the Tabernacle. On the day of the event, the Tabernacle doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The length of the program is approximately 90 minutes.
