A Pioneer Christmas: A Time to Dance Event Description Pioneer Heritage Company will share an evening of pioneer caroling, celebration, and dance in the theater at the Church History Museum on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. Guests are requested to arrive at least one half hour before the program begins for pre-events and the unique opportunity of becoming part of the program. Pioneer Heritage Company is a living history organization of Utah families dedicated to preserving and sharing Utah's pioneer history. The evening’s program, under the direction of dance historian Laraine Miner, will feature beloved dances of the pioneer period, such as the Money Musk, Waltz Quadrille, Sir Roger de Coverley, and a traditional children’s dance around the Christmas tree. The Blue Sage Band will provide traditional music. Dates and Location Saturday, December 6, 2008, 7:00 p.m. Church History Museum Theater Tickets Tickets can be obtained over the Internet at www.lds.org/events or by calling 801-570-0080 (locally) or toll-free 1-866-537-8457 (1-866-LDS-TIKS) beginning Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. The time for tickets to go on sale has been changed to Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 10:00a.m. There is a limit of four (4) tickets per person. Special Considerations Tickets are required for this event. Those with tickets should be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. For this event, admission to the theater is open to all ages. No babies, please. Wheelchair seating is available. Patrons who require such seating should inform Guest Services when they arrive at the event. Best dress is requested. Those attending this event are advised that cameras, recording devices, backpacks, food, and beverages are not allowed in the theater. Those attending this event should plan to arrive early and should park only in designated parking areas. On the day of the event, the theater doors will open at 6:00 p.m. The length of the event is approximately 60 minutes.
