Pinwheel
You will need: scissors, ruler, pencil, 6″ (15 cm) square of stiff paper, glue, 6″ (15 cm) length of bendable wire, cardboard, and 12″ (30.5 cm) stick.

Draw two diagonal lines from corner to corner on square of paper.

Make cuts 3 1/2″ (9 cm) long from each corner toward middle of square.

Glue corners A to a, B to b, C to c, and D to d. Let glue dry.

4.
Cut out small diamond shape from cardboard, and make hole in center.

5.
Make small loop in one end of wire. Thread straight end of wire through hole in cardboard, then through middle of pinwheel.

6.
Wind wire around stick, leaving a little wire between pinwheel and stick (see illustrations).
Watch your pinwheel spin in the wind!
