Ice-Cube-Tray Sherbet
1 banana, mashed
1 cup mashed strawberries, pineapple, peaches, or other fruit
juice of 1 lemon
juice of 1 orange
1 cup sugar
1 cup light cream

Place all ingredients in large bowl, and beat with eggbeater until thoroughly blended.

Pour mixture into ice-cube tray, and freeze for 1 hour.

Remove tray from freezer, stir sherbet, and return to freezer.

Freeze until sherbet mixture becomes firm.
Holiday Whirlers

Trace patterns onto several different colors of construction paper.

Cut out and along spiral lines.

3.
Glue tiny cake decoration or grain of rice to bottom of each center (see illustration).

4.
Toss several whirlers gently, and watch them open up as they drift down, looking like a starburst.
