To make a valentine apron, you will need: a white apron, a 6″ x 6″ (15 cm x 15 cm) piece of red felt, scissors, a sewing needle, and white or red thread.

Using the pattern around these instructions, cut a heart shape out of the felt.

Sew the heart to the center of the apron, stitching around the edges. Or if there is a pocket on the apron, sew the heart there. If there is no pocket on the apron, the heart can be made into one by leaving the top unstitched.

Give the apron to your mother on Valentine’s Day and promise her that any time she hands it to you, you will help her.
