“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” ^*

Seeing an angel must have been an amazing experience for those shepherds. But not as amazing as what the angel told them.

They had a Savior! A God who had come to earth to save them.

Whenever we share the gospel of Jesus Christ, we follow in the footsteps of that angel. We, too, bring “good tidings of great joy.”

I’m going to bring good tidings to someone. So am I.
