A Jar Full of Thanks
In the month of November, keep a “thankful jar” on your desk or dresser. Every day, think of one thing you are thankful for and place a small object in the jar, such as a dry bean, button, bead, or colorful piece of paper. Try to put one thing in the jar each day during the month. (If you put in more than one a day, that’s great!) At the end of the month you will have a jar full of gratitude and blessings!
Run, Jump, Play!
Find one small ball and one larger ball. The small ball will be the mouse, and the larger ball will be the cat.
Sit in a circle with three or more friends.
Pass the two balls around in the same direction, starting on opposite sides of the circle. See how long it takes the cat to catch the mouse!
Each of these mixed-up titles is the name of a hymn about Jesus Christ. See if you can unscramble the titles. If you need help, look up the hymn number in the hymnbook. (Find the answers at the bottom of this page.)
