General Site Layout and Functionality Click on titles below for more details Features The features area on each page contains main articles and resources of interest for each channel. To view featured articles or resources, click on any image, title, or link. Bread Crumb Trail The Bread Crumb Trail provides easy access back to previously visited channels and web pages. To return to a channel or resource, click on an item in the bread crumb trail. Channel Info Channel Info identifies the channel you are currently visiting and explains the purpose and scope of each channel. Directory The directory is the primary way to navigate throughout this site. Context-sensitive, the directory changes according to the channel that you are visiting. On the homepage, the directory displays channels available on the entire site. If you were to click on "Basic Beliefs," for example, the directory will display only major resources specific to "Basic Beliefs." Toolbar The toolbar features important functional and informational pages useful for channels throughout the site. The features on the toolbar include: Search, Feedback, Site Map, Help, and Languages. Search The search tool enables users to quickly and easily find specific information of interest from either the Church magazines or the scriptures. For instructions on how to use this tool, go to the search page. Feedback The feedback page allows users to report technical problems with the site, as well as share ideas about future site enhancements and resources. Responses will not be given to non-site-related issues, such as: explaining Church doctrines or policies, helping to locate materials for talks or lessons, or contacting Church leaders or members. Site Map The site map provides an overview of all channels and their features. To go to any channel or feature, click on the reference. Help The help page provides an easy reference to site functionality and features. Languages The languages page provides a list of languages that have materials available on the site. Right Sash The right sash highlights recent news and events, important notices, and special features. Specific Features and Channels Broadcast For instructions on how to use multimedia content on the Internet, see the Broadcast "How to Listen" page. Calendar The calendar highlights upcoming temple dedications, pageants, devotionals, broadcasts, and other Church-related events. Calendar Color Codes: All calendar items are color coded according to the type of event. For a key to the colors, see information below the month title on the calendar. Viewing Specific Months: To view a specific month on the calendar, use the pulldown menu at the bottom of the calendar, or click on the Past Month or Next Month arrows at the top of the calendar. Church Magazines Church Magazines features the Ensign, New Era, Friend, and Liahona magazines. For more details and technical assistance, see the Church Magazines Help area.. Printing You should be able to easily print from any page by clicking the browser's print button.
