The Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price—God has blessed us with so many scriptures!
And someday we’ll have even more.
One of the frequent themes in the Book of Mormon is that God loves all of His children everywhere. Just because the Savior lived His mortal life in one particular country doesn’t mean God only cares about the people in that area.
“Know ye not that there are more nations than one?” the Lord told Nephi. “Know ye not that I … bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea even upon all the nations of the earth?” (2 Nephi 29:7)
The Bible records God’s dealings with people near the Mediterranean Sea. The Book of Mormon is a record of God’s word to some of the people who lived on the American continent at around the same time. But those weren’t the only places on Earth that people lived!
“And I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it” (2 Nephi 29:12, emphasis added).
We don’t know how this will come about, or when, but it’s exciting to think of the inspiring stories we have yet to read and the spiritual heroes we have yet to meet!
There’s so much more that God hasn’t revealed yet—but He will!
