Biography: |
Brother Wold has taught Seminary and Institute for 30 years. He was born and raised in Long Beach, California and he and his father joined the Church when he was 14 years old. He served a mission in Southwest England and Wales. Before becoming a seminary teacher, he was a deputy sheriff in San Bernardino County, California for 6 years. He received a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Redlands, and a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from NAU. He is married to Joyce Egan from Provo, Utah. They have 4 children and 17 grandchildren. He has served in many ward and stake callings, including Bishop. He is currently serving in the Tempe Arizona University Stake High Council, and he and Sister Wold are ordinance workers in the temple. He loves traveling and going on dates with Sis. Wold, being with his grandchildren, hiking the Grand Canyon, WWII aviation history, and since he grew up with his father who built race cars, he is a big fan of NASCAR and sprint car racing.
