Biography: |
Russell N. Greiner was born in Pasadena, California. He was a ranked junior in tennis and received a tennis scholarship to the University of Redlands. In 1971 Russ became an NAIA All-American in tennis and received a scholarship to BYU where he joined the Church. One year after his baptism Russ was called to serve in the Montana-Billings Mission. After his mission Russ graduated from BYU in Communications and married Dianne Boden in the Los Angeles Temple. They have 3 children: Cora, Jenny and Rusty. They reside in San Clemente, California.
Brother Greiner has been a speaker for Especially For Youth, Education Week, and The Book of Mormon Conference at BYU. He has served as a Seminary Teacher, Ward Mission Leader, Stake Mission President, High Councilor, Bishop, and a Counselor to two Mission Presidents. He is currently an Institute Director in the Church Educational System.
