Biography: |
Elder and Sister Twiss are serving a two year mission. Their assignment is with the Church Education as Institute Directors in Edmond. They are the parents of six children and grandparents of twenty-one. They met in high school and married in their early twenties. Both are converts to the Church, she at age 13 and he at age 22.
He obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Calif. State College at San Bernardino and began teaching in Roswell, NM. After three years they moved to Tulsa, OK where he continued teaching and obtained a Master's Degree from Oklahoma State University. Later she began working for the Church as a secretary for LDS Family Services. In 1995 they moved to Hurricane, UT near St. George. He retired in May of 2007 and she retired in December of 2007.
They have both served actively in the Church during their forty-one years together. She has served mostly in Relief Society and he has served in various leadership positions. They are normally quiet and reserved, but are each driven by an "insatiable desire to serve". You will enjoy knowing this couple.
