About how many students are in the institute program? How often are activities and social events?
Currently we have 300 registered students and we are always trying to locate any and all LDS students who attend Orange Coast College to let them know about activities and classes. We have a wide variety of day classes and 3 night classes that are taught by our faculty and missionaries. We have monthly activities and try to stay involved with activities on campus as well.
What about parking?
We have a parking gate that is open the first week of each semester. After that a parking pass is required and can be obtained from the Institute Secretary.
Do Institute classes count as BYU credit?
Yes. However, if you want BYU credit you need to declare it when you sign up for a class. There will be a little more work required of you than a non BYU credit student.
How do I register for classes?
You can register in two ways: by coming in person to the Institute or ono-line using the registration link.
