Dear Candace - Thank you for contacting the Toronto Institute. We are a fast growing Institute are currently building and Institute facility in Toronto. We have about 350 students attending and meet every Friday night at the Toronto Stake Center for a lesson at 8 PM and activity to follow. (Except the 3rd Friday of each month when we meet at Brampton Stake Center at 8 PM and attend the Temple together as a group to do baptisms and/or endowments.) If you would like us to contact your friend in Toronto please do not hesitate to send along his name/number/address/email. We have a great Institute of Religion Council and they work hard at contacting and including newcomers to the Toronto area. The age for Institute students is 18 - 30. Please feel free to write again if you have any further questions. Brother Brian G. Turner, CES Coordinator, Toronto Are

Welcome to our area. Yes you can attend Institute classes. You just need to show up at a class to registar. If you go to the Calendar page it will give you the times and places for classes.
Do we know when the Palmyra YSA Conference Trip will be held yet?
No, but we will look into it and put it on our calendar on the webpage when we know. Keep checking the webpage and it should be up soon.
Do you know anything about the Latter-day Saint Student Association?
LDSSA is organized where a legal organizational entity is desired on the campus of a college or university. The Association is to be supervised by the Institute Director or Institute of Religion Advisor. LDSSA officers must be students at the college or university at which the LDSSA is registered.
Has Institute actually started classes at Durham College yet? If so what days and times?
No, not yet. We need to know the number of students who would attend a class, and what the best time for a class would be.
Can married people between the ages of 18-30 attend institute classes?
Yes, provided that one of the married couple is enrolled in post-secondary education. This can range from a night class on knitting, to nuclear physics. They may attend CLASSES, but are asked to NOT ATTEND YSA ACTIVITIES.
