Bloomington LDS Institute of Religion - Parking Policy Revised November 2002
We are pleased to be able to offer parking to our enrolled students. Parking at the Institute is a privilege that is extended upon the following conditions.
Liability Waiver
Church Educational System (CES) seminary and institute of religion parking lots are to be used by permission only. By parking in a CES parking lot you agree to lock your vehicle and you understand that you are parking at your own risk in an unattended parking lot. CES is not responsible for any theft, fire, collision, or any other damages or loss of any vehicle or its contents. No bailment is created by this agreement. When parking in a CES parking facility you fully understand and agree to these terms.
Enrollment & Attendance
Students must be currently enrolled in an Institute class and maintain a minimum attendance of 75%. If one attends 75% or more and there is room, one may park for the day. We invite and encourage all to attend Institute, if you are unable to attend 75% of a class, an office gate key is available for admittance
Security Deposit
A $10 deposit is required to obtain a gate card, which will be refunded upon its return in good condition.
Gate Cards
Parking gate cards are issued at the time of registration, are the property of the Institute, and as such must be returned. These are available only for those who attend class; for your spouse to use a gate key, he/she must be enrolled and attend 75% of class. Different cards are used each semester. Damaged or lost cards will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit and may cause a loss of parking privileges.
Unauthorized Loan of Cards
Parking cards may not be loaned to others, nor are they to be used to allow others to use the parking lot. Institute guests may park in the lot by obtaining a temporary card from the office. Misuse of the parking card will cause a loss of parking privilege and forfeiture of the security deposit.
Towing of Illegally Parked Cars
Cars parked illegally (non-enrolled students or those who fall below 75% attendance) may be towed at the owners expense. Towed cars may be retrieved by contacting the Institute at 334-3432. Illegal parking will cause a loss of parking privilege and forfeiture of the security deposit.
Multiple Cars
Parking is limited to only one car per student. Students who may drive more than one car to the Institute will need to make special arrangements with the director.
No Overnight Parking
No vehicles are to be left in the Institute parking lot overnight.
We are grateful that you are here - and look forward to serving you.

| Your student info link asks if housing is a need to click on the links but then the links do not work. I will be coming out for graduate school in the fall and would like to find an LDS roommate, female. Is there a board to post such requests? |
| We have an email list that serves as an aid for housing. You can state who you are, and what you are looking for, and others can reply. The list goes out to everyone, so be aware that everyone on the list will be able to read your email. That would be the best way to find housing. Or, contact the RS president/Elders' Quorum president for the singles branch--Angela Brower-- angela.brower@gmail.com/Golden Lund -- goldenlund@hotmail.com Email me at the Institute to be added to the list: bloomingtonin@ldsces.org |
