| Why should I attend Institute? |
| President Gordon B. hinckley wants you to go. he said recently, "Hold on to the Institute program. Gather with your peers in these far-flung facilities. Listen to good and able teachers. Participate in the social programs."
Elder Eyring has said that The spiritual strength necessary for us to stand firm just a few years ago is not enough. His solution is we must get the pure gospel of Jesus Christ down into our hearts by the power of the Holy Ghost. The Brethren expect Institute to play a major role in this effort. It can only play a role in your life if you allow it, by coming and participating with us.

| Why do we register for class and take roll? |
| Registration helps the Church Education System identify and serve the needs of the students. We are able to give Institute Credit that is applied toward graduation. Credit is based on attendance and particpation. With prior permission from an approved Instructor, and additional work, credit may also be applied toward a degree at one of the Church Schools. |
