| What is the purpose of Institute? |
| Institutes of Religion help provide students and non-student young single adults with opportunities for religious education, service activities, social interaction, leadership training, and spiritual growth. Institutes assist local priesthood leaders in encouraging young people to serve missions and marry in the temple. |

| How do I Graduate from Institute? |
| A two year certificate is earned when a student has 4 credit hours of scripture studies, including 2 credits of Book of Mormon and four other credits earned from scripture or any other classes.
To graduate from Institute, a student must earn 14 credit hours: four of these credits must be Book of Mormon parts 1 and 2, and four additional credit hours must be earned in Book of Mormon or other scripture based courses. Six credit hours may be earned in either scripture or other general classes.

| Stop in at the Institute and we will help you choose classes that fit your schedule and will be of interest to you. You can also see the classes offered this semester and register on-line. |

| What does the Institute offer besides classes? |
| The College Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, meets every Sunday beginning at 11:00am. On Monday nights the branch sponsors Family Home Evening; Thursday Nights the Institute Council sponsors "Fun Night"; Friday at 12:00 noon we have Devotional followed by "Lunch for the Bunch". |

| Are students of other faiths invited to attend Institute? |
| Non-LDS students are welcome in all classes. Some classes, however, are better suited for them than others. Those interested should talk to the Institute director or staff for advice. |

| Can married couples enroll in institute? |
| Yes! All young adults, ages 18-30, single or married, may enroll for institute courses. |

| How academically demanding are Institute classes? |
| We encourage gospel scholarship. A student can do as much reading and research as he or she wishes. Out of class study is suggested. However, we welcome students who, because of heavy school or work schedules, can only come to the Institute to hear lectures and participate in discussions. |

| What does it cost to attend classes? |
| There is no fee to attend an Institute class.
