Is their an active student branch at Iowa State University?
Yes. The Ames University Branch is a singles branch. They meet in the Ames Stake Center located at 2624 Hoover Drive. It is very active. About 50 - 60 students attend. They have family home evening groups that meet each week and an activity every Thursday evening.

(See the "Student Information" section of this website.)
What kind of facilities are available at the Institute building?
The Ames Institute does not yet have a dedicated building near campus. Institute classes are held at various locations on campus and at the Ames Stake Center located at 2624 Hoover Drive in Ames. Many of the YSA activities and Branch activities are held at the Stake Center, members homes, or various parks around the area. Come join institute and we'll get a building as soon as we can!
Are there many young married students at ISU?
There are more than 40 young married student couples or young families who attend Iowa State University. Institute is a great way to interact with other couples especially during the "married students" seminars held each semester.
How close is the Institute to DMACC's campus in Boone?
The institute classes being offered currently are on campus at Iowa State University which is located about 30 minutes from the DMACC'S Boone Campus. If there is enough interest, a class could be offered at DMACC as well. Thanks for the question Tiffany
