Elder Henry B. Eyring of the Twelve counseled young adults: "Continuing your religious education after graduation will be one of the most important things you can do to stay close to the Spirit of the Lord. . . .The First Presidency has asked that all single young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 participate in an institute of religion program. . .This includes college students and those. . .single adults who have completed their education and are now in the workforce. I urge each of you. . .to seek out the institutes of religion and become a part of this inspired program. Likewise, I urge each of you who are in the workforce to also participate in the institutes of religion. I promise you that if you do so, you will see immediate and long-range blessings come into your life. I say again, one of the most important things you can do to stay faithful during your young adult years is to actively maintain your religious education by participating in an institute of religion" (Church Educational System Planning Guide, CES 2005).
