BUILDING INFORMATION
The Cheney Institute building will be open most evenings. If you need to schedule the building for special occasions, please contact Brother McCombie or Sister Tait at the Institute. The Cheney Institute consists of a class room , lounge, library, game room, kitchen, and offices. All are available for student use. We have an updated bulletin board to assist students with educational, employment, and housing needs. Please come and enjoy!
PARKING
Students who actively attend classes at the Cheney Institute are entitled to a parking permit. Passes are free to students as long as they are attending Institute classes. Please see Sister Tait at the Institute for your permit.
HOUSING
We want to be able to help students find housing especially if they are looking for LDS roomates. Please call us at (509)235-6230 or E-mail us at cheneywa@ldsces.org concerning your housing situation and we will add your name to a housing list we compile. We will then send a list to you and forward this infor to everyone else on the list. We also have housing information posted at the Institute. This has proven to be very helpful to students in the past.
WEST PLAINS SINGLE WARD
The West Plains Ward meets in the Cheney Institute Building on Sundays at 11:00am. The first Sunday of each month, the ward has a Break The Fast which is rumored to be delicious. The Relief Society Enrichment night is held the second Thursday of each month. Family Home Evening is every Monday night at the Institute unless otherwise informed. For more info, call Bishop Stephen Olson at (509) 235-6230.
