All single LDS students & Young Single Adults in the Greeley area are encouraged to attend the University First Ward. The Ward meets in the Institute building. Sunday meetings begin at 9:30am. The University Ward Bishop is Randy Hatch; the Elders Quorum President is Rob Murdock; & the Relief Society President is Kristen King. For communication with any of these individuals, please contact the Institute building at: 970.352.8957. We hope to see you there! Many married students attend the University Second Ward. The Bishop is Steven Bagley, and his phone number is 970.330.6237.
Building and Office hours
The Institute building is open every day by 8:00am, and is usually open until 9:00pm Monday through Friday because of the classes and activities that are scheduled. Office hours of the Institute director are varied. However, the director is generally in 8:00-8:30am until 4:00pm-9:30pm.
Student Housing Information
Need help with student housing? All Freshmen are required live on campus. UNC housing department currently holds three rooms for LDS students. Although this does not guarentee an LDS room-mate, it is often possible to room with other LDS students. If you would like information on the rooms held for LDS Students in Hanson/Willis Hall, contact the institute before mid March. Students interested in off campus housing who would like to room with other church members can also contact us. We are always getting requests/information for roomates and available housing. We can't promise anything, but we're usually pretty successful in getting people together.
Student Parking
Parking is available behind the Institute for those with a parking pass. To get a pass, enroll in an institute class and see Sr. Huffines- she will give you a pass. (it is illegal to park in the alley). Parking is on a first come, first serve basis. No overnight parking is allowed.
