PARKING
Parking for the Institute is limited. You can get a parking card when you sign up for one or more Institute classes. No deposit is required in order to receive a parking card.

The Land Park Institute of Religion is open: Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Fridays Call (916) 444-6164
Institute Fees
There are no fees for classes or activities.
Institute Manuals
Institute manuals may be purchased online at www.lds.org under "order Church materials". There is no shipping fee. A limited supply is available at the Institute as well� See Sister Nebeker in the front office.
Institute Graduation Requirements
Fourteen sememster hours of Institute courses. Four semester hours (2 classes) are required in Book of Mormon. Four semester hours (2 classes) are required to be other scripture based classes. The remaining six hours may be chosen from any other courses offered in any combination.
Transfer Credit and Non-transfer Credit
Transfer Credit: Each student is encouraged to register for transfer credit when it is available. If you later decide to transfer to BYU or any other Church School, your credit will transfer as religion credit. You must decide within the first three weeks of the term whether you want to take the class for transfer or nontransfer credit. Please contact the Institute Office for more information at 916 444-6164. Nontransfer Credit: Valid at any institute of religion, it can be used toward institute of religion graduation diplomas or certificates of achievement. A student qualifies for nontransfer credit (�pass� grad) by (a) Attending class at least 75% of the time; (b) accomplishing the work required by the teacher.
Housing and Job Information
There is a bulletin board in the hallway area of the Institute for students to place notices of "rooms for rent" or "roommates wanted," etc.
