| Unity of Purpose |
| The Hilo HI Institute has a great group of young single adults. We have many students who are attending the University of Hawaii at Hilo and the Hawaii Community College. There are also a number of working young single adults who are not attending school at present who join us for Institute and activities. We have a number of students who are from the U.S. Mainland as well as local students who have been born and raised here in the Hilo Area. Regardless of background, there is a wonderful unity among the students. Hilo is known for the friendliness of the people. This applies equally to the Institute students. They have much "Aloha." Elder John H. Groberg once stated that the "Aloha Spirit" is the Gospel Spirit. You will find a special friendliness, caring, and love among the young single adults in the Hilo HI Institute. |
