| What is the purpose of Institute? |
| Institutes of Religion help provide students and non-student young adults with opportunities for religious education, service activities, social interaction, leadership training, and spiritual growth. |

| How academically demanding are Institute classes? |
| We encourage gospel scholarship. A student can do as much reading and research as he wishes. Out of class study is suggested. However, we welcome students who, because of heavy school work schedules, can only can only come and attend the class. |

| Is Institute credit transferable to BYU, BYU-Idaho or BYU-Hawaii? |
| Institute credit transfers to any of the church sponsored schools (BYU, BYU-Idaho, LDS Business College, BYU-Hawaii, etc.) In order to qualify for this letter grade to be transferred, you would have to declare your intention to Brother Moore. |

| I want to receive credit, but missed several classes. |
| Can I still receive credit for the class so I can graduate from Institute? Attendance is important in receiving credit hours for Institute courses applied toward Institute graduation. If students miss attend class due to heavy school and work responsbilities, arrangements can be made with the Institute instructor to complete make-up work assignments. Thereby meeting the 75% attendance requirement to receive credit for the course.

| Who is invited to attend? |
| Institute classes are intended for all post secondary single and married students between the ages of 18-30. Young Single Adults, Spouses of married students, and friends of Institute students are also invited to attend.

| Parking |
| A permit is required to park in the Institute parking lot. Permits are issued each semester to students who are enrolled in an institute class. Parking is limited and is allowed on a first-come, first-served basis. |

| The Twelth Ward starts their meetings at 10:00 am on Sunday at the Institute Building, 1502 North 12th. |

| The best way to find housing is to contact the various wards in the area, each of which has a housing coordinator that can be of help. The Institute does not maintain a housing list
