DETAILS
Why do we have Institute?
"Institutes...provide weekday religious instruction for all young single adults ages 18-30. In addition...they provide opportunities to meet, associate with, and establish lasting relationships with other young single adults; serve; receive leadership training; address concerns related to academic work; and grow spiritually. Institutes assist local priesthood leaders in encouraging young single adults to serve missions and marry in the temple." (CES Policy Manual, 7)
Who attends Institute?
There are three primary groups of people who attend institute: (1) LDS students ages 18-30 who pursue educational or vocational training beyond high school; (2) student spouses ages 18-30; (3) young single adults ages 18-30 who are not in college.
How do I register for a class?
You may register by calling the Institute at 517-351-3640, ext. 12 or you may register on-line. From the homepage click on "Register for Classes" and follow the instructions.
