President Robert Jensen teaching Institute at Monterey building

Robert Jensen, recently released as Monterey Stake President, has accepted a CES appointment to teach Institute at the Monterey building on Skyline Forest Drive. The class is largely composed of military students from the Presidio of Monterey, but also attracts many non-miliary Young Single Adults from throughout the Stake. President Jensen has served in the Stake Presidency and as a Bishop. He is a popular and inspiring teacher who taught Seminary for several years in San Diego and in the Prunedale Ward. He combines a rich knowledge and love of the scriptures with years of leadership experience to bless the lives of young people who attend his classes. President and Sister Jensen have also been called as the Stake Young Single Adult Advocate Couple and are working closely with all of the young people in the Monterey Stake.


Multi-Stake YSA Dances

Multistake Dances
Dances are held every Friday. The first week is at the Camanche building in San Jose, the second at Pleasanton, the third week at Saratoga, the fourth at Fremont, and when there's a fifth Friday it's held at Santa Cruz. Things usually get going by 10 PM.
