I am sincerely thankful for the Prophet Joseph Smith. I am sincerely thankful for Joseph Smith's faith. I know that through his prayer of faith the gospel of God was once again restored to this earth. And I know that in response to Joseph Smith's prayer, God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ visited Joseph Smith. And I know that the Book of Mormon was given to us through Joseph Smith. I am thankful for the Book of Mormon. And I am thankful that Joseph Smith translated it. Through the Book of Mormon, I was able to learn that Jesus Christ is our Redeemer, is Jesus [the] Christ, is our Savior. At the time I felt I wanted to obtain a strong testimony about Jesus Christ and about this church, I read the Book of Mormon. At that time I felt a warm feeling in my heart, and I was able to feel that feeling of peace expanding inside my heart. At that time I strongly felt that God truly exists, that He loves each of us. And I was able to know that Jesus Christ is truly an important being in our lives.
