PCC Directors/Presidents Fund
Brigham Young University Hawaii
Funding Goal:   Funding Goal: $5 million

What It Is
The PCC Directors’/President’s Fund is supported by alumni and friends of the Polynesian Cultural Center and is used by the center’s president and board of directors to fund priorities and pressing needs. This fund accelerates the success of the center and its student employees by providing much-needed fiscal flexibility to the center’s administration.

Why It Is a Priority
The PCC receives the majority of its funding from its own operations through admissions, retail, and concessions sales. However, in times of economic uncertainty, when tourism is not robust, the center is significantly challenged to cover operating and capital costs while maintaining its support of Brigham Young University Hawaii and its students. Donations to the PCC Directors’/President’s Fund assist in meeting these needs and allow administrators to take advantage of other timely opportunities.

What It Does and How It Helps
The Polynesian Cultural Center’s central mission and objective are to assist students from around the world through work-experience internships, on-the-job mentorships, and entrepreneurial training, all of which provide the resources needed to fund students’ BYU–Hawaii education. The center’s management team can help ensure the success of these efforts by drawing on donations made to the PCC Directors’/President’s Fund.

This fund is critical to the success of the center. Your assistance in providing unrestricted support to the Polynesian Cultural Center through the PCC Directors’/President’s Fund will provide the flexibility needed as the center strives to fulfill its student-focused mission.
