And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth. … And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind. Genesis 1:20, 24

On the fifth day of creation, the fish and other water creatures were placed in the seas, and the birds were made to fly above the earth (see Genesis 1:20–23; Moses 2:20–23; Abraham 4:20–23).
On the sixth day God put all the other animals upon the earth, creating cattle and beasts and creeping things (see Genesis 1:24–25; Moses 2:24–25; Abraham 4:24–25). God saw that all His creations were good (see Genesis 1:25; Moses 2:25).
Summary
God created the animals on the fifth and sixth days of creation.
