Boolean Search Operators
The current version of the search tool on LDS.org does not support Boolean searches, but we intend to add Boolean search capability at some point in the future. Currently, the search tool ignores the Boolean terms "and," "not," "or," "near." Please also note that the search tool ignores parentheses, brackets, and slashes.
You can imitate a Boolean "and" search by simply entering the two terms you want to find. For example, if you enter "duties deacon" in the search field, your results will look much the same as if you had used a Boolean "and" between the two terms.
