Audio MP3 Files

You can find files in MP3 format to listen to or download on the audio page at lds.org/audio. Left-click the link of any audio file to immediately play (stream) the file, or right-click the link to download it. After the right-click, select Save Target As, and save the file to your hard drive. You can then listen to the file later or copy it to a CD, handheld device, or MP3 player.

Most audio files are in MP3 format (with an ID3 tag version of 2.3 or newer), which is compatible with a variety of operating systems (including Windows, Macintosh, and Linux) and with a variety of media players (such as iTunes, Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, and QuickTime). For live events, such as general conference and other broadcasts, the live streaming is currently done in Windows Media format, although we expect to change that to MP3 in the future. The new standard for voice audio files is 32 kBit/s, 22,050 Hz, mono, and for music audio files the standard is 128 kBits/s, 44.1 kHz, stereo (again, some old files are not yet at these standards).
